AKG Trading

95% of traders fail to achieve success in trading, while most of the successful traders take years to get there.  This endeavor is no different than changing careers.  However I strongly believe that the main reason for the low success rate and lengthy time it takes to get there is that trading is a highly personalized journey and I have found no one who has laid out the road map that can get you there efficiently and effectively in all aspects of the trading process, including what you can expect from trading.

If someone were to give me a step by step road map of all the resources I would need, the learning I would need to under take and the guidance on how to systematize all aspects of the business I am very confident I could have shorten the time on my journey by 50-75%.  For me this is 2-3 years wasted spinning my wheels in the mud, system jumping, and looking for better ways to practice, measure, analyze and systematize my trading process.

As to what you can expect from trading?  2- 40%/month returns is consistently achievable – entirely dependent on you.  But it is possible.  As for me? Here are my results for 2016

Below is the road map for getting you to where can be trading successfully.  One kind request, if you decide to purchase any of the resources linked below, before you do so please clear your browser cache before clicking on the link prior to making your purchase.  The links are affiliate referral links, and a percentage of your purchase is commissioned back to me as a sales commission. Clearing your cache will ensure that happens.  That being said, I do not promote everyone.  Only a single resource for each aspect of the journey that I found to be the single best.  That’s it.  As I mentioned above, if someone could have short listed and weeded out all the zillions of poor options in the internet world and gave me the direct route I would have sincerely appreciated it.  This is what I am giving to you.  The direct route.

  1. LEARN with Chris Capre at 2ndSkiesForex.com.  By far the best.  Chris is the only one I have found that teaches how to read the context and underlying order flow in the market. I am a student of Chris and I have had the pleasure of meeting him in person.  His insights into reading price action are not taught anywhere else.  Most other price action teachers only prioritize reading 1 or 2 candles on the chart.  Chris gets much deeper than that.  He helps you learn to program your subconscious mind for reading price action as well as programming your mindset for success in trading.  This is the only place you need to go to learn to read price action and trade like a pro.
  2. PRACTICE with Forex Tester 3.  Back test your system here.  Build your confidence here.  Every professional athlete in the world spends more time training and practicing than playing.  This is where you train.
  3. DEFINE YOUR SYSTEM AND YOUR BUSINESS– Trading is a business, treat it as one, write your business plan. Don’t wait to do this part.  Do this first and continue to develop it as you go.  You don’t have to wait until you have found your system. You will find clarity it organizing your approach. The best resource I have found for developing and defining your trading business properly is from Inside Out Trading.  Brian offers outstanding guidance and literally walks you through step by step exactly how to plan out your business for stability and robustness.  Trust me you will need this kind of preparation.  This preparation will give you fortitude in the though times of trading.  I have personally invested in his courses and strongly recommend them.   He does not teach trading systems.  It is purely business and risk management.  Click here to his programs Inside Out Trading
  4. JOURNAL – This is critical for reviewing and analyzing your performance.  If you do a poor job on this part then you will find it very difficult to find success in trading.  The best journal I’ve found that provides great analytical tools and friendly to use is TJS.   If you are good are programming excel you can do it yourself, but why waste time in excel when you should be spending time honing your system, practicing in FT3, and refining your business plan.  Leave programming excel to the excel programmers. 5. TEST in a Demo account
  6. TRACK – Myfxbook.com
  7. REFINEto do this you must measure your trading results. Myfxbook will help.  I created my own excel spreadsheet to calculate what I find useful.  The most valuable method I found was to analyze my trading account equity in a candle stick chart. This allows me to be surgical in finding what works and when something changed in my trading.  TJS offers the candle stick equity chart in their journal – this is part of what make it really powerful in my opinion.
  8. TRADE
    • Trading Platform – MT4 Desktop Application locally installed – MT4 is free and you can find tons of free indicators online to support your trading.
    • Remote Trading
      1. MT4 Iphone App
      2. VPS – Virtual Private Server – LinkUpHost
      3. Desktops and laptops – Microsoft Remote Desktop connection
      4. iPhone – Microsoft Remote Desktop App
  9. GET PAID
